I think that everything said was very reasonable. But, what about this? suppose you added a little content? I am not saying your information is not good., however suppose you added something to possibly get folk's attention? I mean "Army confines 100 soldiers to base over missing equipment" is a little vanilla. You could look at Yahoo's home page and note how they create post headlines to grab viewers interested. You might try adding a video or a picture or two to get readers excited about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it would make your blog a little livelier.
